Which one

Which cartridge fits my printer?

The SG500 and SG1000 both run SubliJet-UHD; only the cartridge size differs. The VJ 628 has an ink line of its own, SubliJet-HD.

The difference

Sublimation or VersiFlex?

Same machines, different jobs. Most shops end up running both, each in its own printer.

SubliJet-UHD Our sublimation ink. The colour goes into the material, not onto it: it will not scratch, peel or wash out.

Do I have to use original ink?

We recommend it. The colour profiles in Print Utility are built around SubliJet-UHD, and third-party ink can affect your warranty. That is why we only supply original cartridges and sets.

Standard or extended capacity?

Extended holds more ink and is there for the SG1000. If you print daily it saves a change halfway through a run. If you print now and then, standard makes more sense: the ink stays fresher and you tie up less stock.

Which one fits my printer ›

Can I put VersiFlex in the same printer?

No. The two ink sets are not interchangeable in one machine. VersiFlex asks for an SG500 or SG1000 of its own, and for its own media: the print transfers from VersiFlex media, not from sublimation paper.

How do I reorder?
