And the UV flatbed
The SC-V1000 is not in the table above, because it works differently: no transfer paper and no roll, but straight onto the object.
Parts
SC-F parts and V1000 parts are not the same thing
The two lines wear through different parts, and nothing crosses over. Find your machine first, then the part.
Parts for the SureColor SC-F printers
SC-F500 and the SC-F6300 series
- Maintenance box for the SC-F500.
- Waste ink bottle, head maintenance kit, wiper kit and auto cap cleaning kit for the SC-F6300 series.
- Plus the accessories a roll machine uses: the auto take-up reel and the roll adapter.
- These are for machines that print on transfer paper, which you then press.
Parts for the SureColor V1000
The UV flatbed
- Wiper unit, listed by Epson for the SC-V1000 and SC-V2000.
- Air filter for the SC-V1000 — a UV machine filters its own air, a sublimation machine does not.
- No maintenance box and no take-up reel: there is no roll and no transfer step.
- The ink is cured on the item itself, so the wear sits in different places.

Frequently asked
Epson questions we answer every day
The eight questions that reach us most often. If yours is not here, use the search field at the top of the page or send us a message.
Which ink goes in my machine?
Go by the model name. The SC-F500 uses the dye sublimation cartridges it shares with the SC-F100. The SC-F6300, SC-F7200 and SC-F9500 run UltraChrome DS. The SC-F6400 has its own cartridges, including light cyan and light magenta for the six-colour version. If the model name is not enough, send us the serial number. sublimation ink
nK or hdK — which black do I need?
The SC-F7200 comes in two versions that differ in the black they run: nK is the standard black, hdK the high-density one. That is a different cartridge, not a setting on the machine, so they are not interchangeable. Which version you have is in your printer’s model name. sublimation ink
What does the H mean in SC-F6400H and SC-F9500H?
The H marks the six-colour version: two extra channels on top of the four process colours. On the SC-F6400H those are orange and violet, or light cyan and light magenta. On the SC-F9500H, light cyan, light magenta and fluorescents. The extra channels widen the range of colours the machine can hit, which matters when the job is judged on colour matching.
My printer is asking for a maintenance part. Where do I find it?
That depends on your machine. For the SC-F500 and the SC-F6300 series, the maintenance box, waste ink bottle, head and wiper kits and the accessories are under Epson printer maintenance. For the SureColor V1000 it is the wiper unit and the air filter, under UV maintenance. The two lines share no parts. Epson printer maintenance / UV maintenance
How often do I replace a wear part?
Your printer tells you. How much a maintenance box holds and when a wiper is due depends on the machine and on how much you run; Epson sets it out per model in the documentation. We deliberately do not put a number here, because a number that belongs to a different model does not help you. What does help: having the part on the shelf before the message appears.
Can I use non-Epson ink?
We only supply original Epson ink for these machines, and that is what we can advise on. For what another ink does to your warranty, see Epson’s commercial warranty terms — the link is further down this page. warranty terms
Where do I register my printer and check the warranty?
That runs through Epson itself. Product registration, the CoverPlus warranty registration and the commercial warranty terms are all further down this page, together with the ink finder and the safety data sheets. the Epson links
My printer is showing a fault. Who do I go to?
Technical faults go through Epson: they hold the service record for your machine. If it is a part, a cartridge or an order, that is us. Send us the model or serial number and the message the printer is showing, and we will work out what it is asking for. Epson Support
