Description
Removing excess chemistry from the film or paper surface minimises drying marks and also reduces chemistry carry-over between the baths. The processing baths stay fresh longer and the rinse section is less contaminated, in line with growing environmental requirements and legislation.
Appropriately selected and installed Squeegees will do their work without leaving any marks or scratches on the film's or paper's surface whatsoever. In general, Silicone materials have the softest 'touch' but are more sensitive to wear and tear. Urethane materials are less flexible but more wear resistant.
Technotape's latest polyurethane Squeegees offer the best of both worlds. Squeegees are ranged in shape, material, colour, hardness and length. The shape is determined by the processor, only one shape/profile will fit. The material and hardness is detmined by whether it will be used on the emulsion or rear side of the film or paper and by personal preference. Buffer Rollers are used in lower speed film processors, like cinefilm processors.
Other remarks/considerations
Pre-cut to length and/or perforated Squeegees for Agfa paper processors are stock items. Perforating is carried out to original specifications. Special perforations and/or shapes are also possible. Minimum orders apply.

Special tapes for a wide range of manual applications including film repair, manual film splicing in minilab operations and process detection purposes.
Description
All Film Tapes are coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive. Altough the initial tack (stickiness) is quite high, sufficient pressure should still be applied to ensure optimum adhesion.
This tape are also release coated. This means the rear side of the tape (non-adhesive side) has undergone a special non-stick treatment to ensure trouble free tape unwinding off the roll. The SST range of Splicing Tapes offers guaranteed trouble free and 100% clean removal each and every time and under the most critical conditions. The AST range offers a high adhesion and is a more economical alternative to SST. Adhesives used are Silicone, Acrylic and Rubber compounds. Base materials can be either polyester, polypropylene or PVC and in ticknesses from 25 to 50 microns (1 to 2 mill).
Colours can be very important and range from clear or coloured transparant, black (IR blocking) and yellow to silver metallic. Widths range from 12 to 50 mm and lengths from 33 to 66 m. Two standard core sizes are used, 1" and 3".

Other remarks/considerations
